There is no one in the world who doesn’t want glowing healthy, young skin. If I talk about women, they are simply engrossed to have wrinkle free skin. For looking good, they do not even hesitate to spend their lots of dollars on various creams, lotions and surgeries too. There are always risks associated with a surgical procedure but some women can go to any extend to attain young skin.
Recently English church ministers banned Yoga after saying that the meditative exercise is a sham and not compatible with Christianity. But this doesn’t bother some New Yorkers who are practicing facial yoga to achieve a youthful appearance. The writer of the book called The Yoga Face: Eliminate Wrinkles with the Ultimate Natural Facelift, Annelise Hagen, a yoga instructor in Manhattan’s wealthy Upper East Side teaches several facial exercises designed to stretch and tone facial muscles. Telling the advantages of Yoga, She said,
Facial muscles become weak and flabby and need regular workouts and circulation to reduce wrinkles. You can do this any time.
The small exercise “The Lion” in which you have to the hang out your tongue and eyes should be rolled up will encourage blood circulation in your skin and reduces wrinkles.
The other exercises include “Satchmo,” in which the cheeks are blown out Louis Armstrong-style, and “Marilyn,” in which glamorous kisses are blown to strengthen mouth muscles for full and firm lips.
Hagen said,
It uses the same principles of exercise you would use for any other parts of your body. Facial muscles also become more toned, so it is a natural way of getting a lift.
So, ladies do YOGA to look Young!

Whlist agreeing to the basic concept of excercising muscels I am amazed to what ridiculous extents yoga is being stretched. I am sure the ancient sages who evolved this science primarily for self-realisation some three to five centuries ago would themselves fail to identify it in its current mutilated form. Yoga is a way of life, wholistic to the extent that it looks at the human being staying in balance with himself, the immediate society and at the macro level the existence itself, not a mere physical exercise it has been made out to be.
you are correct Sanjay!
I will say that I agree to an extent with what you are saying Sanjay. However, if you’ve ever met many yoga instructors you’ll find that the majority of people that truly practice yoga find it to be a way of life. Many use it to destress after a hectic day or to tone. I am not a yoga instructor but I do know several and I’d say this is true for most of them. I would actually like to find a book about what is being discussed in this blog (facial toning).
